"It’s almost like taking a step closer to the music"

Instead of utilising traditional dynamic cone drivers, Audeze EL-8 employs a neodymium magnetic planar transducer design. Magnetic planar technology differs from traditional dynamic cone designs by suspending a thin lightweight diaphragm within a parallel magnetic plane comprised of an array of magnets. The benefits of a magnetic planar design include faster transient response due to the lighter diaphragm, a wide frequency with low distortion, better heat dissipation, fewer moving parts for greater durability without the kind of sonic degradation.
Audeze EL-8 are a refined and contemporary addition to the acclaimed Audeze planar magnetic headphone heritage that personifies modern luxury. Devoid of anything superfluous and designed for lifelong ownership, the EL-8 is as crisp as the sound it reproduces, yet as warm as the comfort it affords. The suspended headband and contoured ear pads evenly distribute pressure and weight, reducing fatigue and improving fit.
